East Porter Schools recognized community veterans today during several programs. We appreciate all the sacrifices that our military men and women have made for us. We are honored that a few of them chose to spend time with us today. Thank you for your service and sacrifice!

What a great day of learning together as a staff! East Porter University allowed our teachers to learn from one another. ❤️💚💛

Don't forget!! Set your clocks back tonight.

Good afternoon East Porter. Please check your email for updated information regarding our next e-learning day, inclement weather, time change and it's part of a test to ensure that you are signed up for future messages. Thank you so much. Have a great night.

2024 School Board Meeting Schedule

National Custodian Day is Oct. 2, 2023! This day recognizes the hard work that it takes to keep our public facilities in great shape as well as the people who diligently work to make sure we have schools and workplaces that are clean and sanitary. The custodian and maintenance crews are vital to keeping the schools and environment safe and healthy. On National Custodian Day, we ask that you show your appreciation to the East Porter custodian and maintenance teams who clean and fix our schools and office buildings and are an integral part of our school community.

Morgan Township Elementary School Receives Grant for Health Resources!!
The American Heart Association’s school-based youth programs, Kids Heart Challenge™ and American Heart Challenge™, awarded $2,500 to Morgan Township Elementary School in Valparaiso for portable badminton and pickleball nets and equipment. The annual grant program supports schools by funding resources to extend school wellness programs.
The grant is one of just 65 awarded nationally for this cycle of the initiative that supports schools by funding resources to extend school wellness programs. The American Heart Association, a global force for healthier lives for all, is helping educators make whole-body wellness a priority by bringing more resources to school campuses. Grant recipients are able to expand their schools’ wellness offerings with additions such as physical activity equipment, water bottle filling stations, and educator training opportunities on their campuses. The application
process was open to all schools that participated in the school-based programs in the 2022-2023 school year.
Thank you, Mrs. Niebel, Mrs. Forney, and the Morgan families, for being so giving and supportive of the American Heart Association’s mission!
