Today, we welcome Mrs. Kaitlyn Mendez-Engel! Mrs. Mendez comes to WT with nearly 10 years of experience teaching art at LaPorte High School. She will be teaching all levels of middle school art, 2D/3D art, ceramics, and AP art. Mrs. Mendez is excited to continue building the WT art program and looks forward to a much shorter drive to school this year.

Start your Friday by meeting WT's new PE teacher, Mr. Brandon Davis! Mr. Davis comes to WT with experience in strength training and physical therapy. His experience coaching both track (at Lake Central) and cross country (at Valpo) has led him to embrace education and enter the classroom. Mr. Davis will be teaching all levels of PE, advanced PE, and will also coach track at WT.

Our Key Club will be collecting items to donate for patients and families at Riley’s until September 30th. We would greatly appreciate any contribution of the items listed below. It’s an amazing feeling when you know you are helping lighten the worry for families who are going through a crisis with a loved one, especially when it’s a child. Donations can be brought to Mrs. Rea’s room, or to the office. Thank you for your help!
All items must be new and in the original packing. Monetary donations are also accepted. Please make checks payable to WTS Key Club and we will make one check to Riley’s.
