Team Senator Captures 21st Annual Academic Invitational Championship
Congratulations to Washington Township's Black Team for capturing the 21st Annual Washington Township Academic Invitational presented by Blythe's Team Sports. Overall Washington Township placed 1st in Science and Interdisciplinary; 2nd in Social Studies and 4th in both English and Math.
Outstanding performances were logged by all schools who competed. Teams competing were Ben Franklin-3 teams; Boone Grove; Fegely-2 teams; Hobart; River Forest; Thomas Jefferson; Union Township-4 team and Washington Township 4 Teams.

Varsity track traveled to River Forest for its first meet of the season. Both teams came in second to Illiana Christian. Our super Senators of the meet are Adam Rogers for winning both the long jump and the 200m dash, twice; and Rachel Fredrick for her 1st place finish in high jump and a new PR in both high jump and the 400!
