The Lady Senator basketball team travels west to Wheeler for a Tuesday night matchup with the Lady Bearcats. JV tips at 5:30 with the varsity to follow! ON YOU SENATORS!
The 7/8 boys basketball head to Tri-Township for a Tuesday, November 14, tilt against the Tigers. 7th grade starts at 4:30 pm with the 8th grade to follow.
The 6th grade boys basketball team travels to East Porter County Schools central campus to take on the Cherokees of Morgan Township on Monday, November 13. Tip is set for 4:30 pm.
A quick glance at the sporting events Washington Township High School will be competing in for the week of November 13. The Lady Senator basketball team opens the week with a Tuesday trip to Wheeler before returning Senator Gym for a Saturday evening contest with Demotte Christian. The boys basketball team preps for their season with a mid-week scrimmage at Wheeler before opening their regular season the following week. ON YOU SENATORS!

Hi everyone! There are tons of different germs going around right now as I am sure most of you know with the amount of students that have been absent this week! It would be a good idea for parents to wash coats, hats, gloves, and disinfect backpacks and lunch boxes this weekend per nurse Angie that would be awesome. Just trying to do my diligence to keep everyone healthy! Thank you!

LADY SENATOR BASKETBALL UPDATE:
Tonight's JV girls basketball game against River Forest will be only two (2) quarters. Therefore, the varsity game will start earlier than originally planned.
Note from Mrs. Rea: I cannot tell you how proud I am to be part of the Washington Township family! We're always there to support one another and make a difference in the world!
The results of the East Porter Blood Drive are in: out of the 60 pints collected, 34 came from WTS! That's more than the other two schools combined! Plus we had 15 first-time donors!! You all are awesome!!
We are now able to provide three scholarships (one for each school), plus retain the trophy!! 😊 But truly the winners are the many patients who are assured of the blood products they need. What a difference EPCSC is making in Porter County!
But our work is not done! Please SAVE-THE-DATE for the second blood drive on Wednesday, February 7 from 12 -6 PM in the MPR! Our goal is to get at least 80 pints collected. Won't you please help? Watch FB in January for the link to the blood drive registration
