The boys and Girls track teams out-ran Lake Station at their home meet on Thursday, bringing home the win for both teams. Leading the girls' team were Noelle Kukler and Janet Meade. These ladies were the top scorers, adding 33 points to our team's final score. The boys were led by co-captains Brody Mears and Donovan Jorczak. These two added an impressive 25 points to the team's score.

This morning (4/17/25), we implemented a brief "Hold" procedure in our classrooms due to a medical situation within the school. A "Hold" is a safety protocol that requires students to remain in their classrooms until further notice.
This action was taken to ensure the privacy of all individuals involved and to allow our medical and administrative personnel to address the situation without distraction. We understand that any disruption to the school day can cause concern, and we want to assure you that the situation was handled swiftly and effectively.
The hold was lifted as soon as possible, and normal school activities were resumed.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. As always, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities.

The Athletic Fundraiser has officially closed today. If you still have order forms and money to turn in, please do so tomorrow. Anything turned after 2:30 pm this Thursday will not be accepted, so don't forget!
The Student Athletic Advisory Committee is recognizing track and field athlete Karson Kish as Athlete of the Week. Karson has been a great teammate, always able to make people laugh and put a smile on their face. He has worked hard to improve his running and pole vaulting abilities as well.
Please donate blood at our upcoming EPCSC Blood Drive! It is being held at the Morgan Township Fire Department right next to the high school. Three students (one from each school) will earn scholarships from this drive, and the more people that donate, the greater the scholarship amount!

Ms. Pych received a grant from the Cheryl Lynn Welter Family Charitable Foundation. The grant will be used to purchase essential cooking equipment that will enhance hands-on cooking and baking experiences in Ms. Pych’s Nutrition and Wellness, Dual Credit Advanced Nutrition, and Middle School FACs classes. Thank you to Harold Welter and Family and Bailey’s Discount Center.
Today's baseball game vs Highland has been cancelled. Highland needed today to make up a conference game.
A reschedule date is TBD.
Presale tickets to next week's game vs Boone Grove at the RailCats Stadium will be during this Friday's home game vs Highland. Cost is $5.00 per ticket, no senior or student discounts. All presales go back to the WT baseball program. Tickets will be available at the stadium for $5.00, but the RailCats keep that money.
You may purchase with the ticket taker or stop in the office one day next week and Mrs. Mateer will have them available for you.
