Congratulations to the Washington Township Middle School Academic Teams on their performances this past Saturday at their own invitational winning two of the subject areas and reclaiming the overall team title as well. This is Team Senators 15th Invitational Championships including the last 8 in a row.
The first place Science team answered 22 of 25 questions correctly. The team was made up of Charlie Peters, Porter Wilks and Noah De La Rosa
The winning Interdisciplinary team placed first with a come from behind victory. The team consisted of Anna Drake, Patryk Kiec, Jackson Reeder and Noah De La Rosa
The Social Studies Team of Bronx Niloff, Levi Sexton and Patryk Kiec placed second losing on the first tie breaker 5 to 4.
The English team scored and impressive 23 out of 25 to place 4th in an ultra-competitive English Round.
The Math team of Roy Kutansky, Jacob Wyckoff and Paxton Ingram placed 4th for Team Senator in the Math Round.
Team Senator returns to action on Saturday, May 2nd at the LaPorte Class 4 Regional. Their scores at the LaPorte Regional will then be compared against the other 53 schools in class 4 to determine the state champions in each subject area!

The middle school academic coaches would like the thank the administration and high school faculty for assisting with the Invitational on Saturday, as well as member of Student Council and National Honor Society. Without your dedication and assistance on Saturday, the Washington Township Academic Invitational would not be able to perform at the high level it does. The other schools greatly appreciated your efforts.
