ACT Student Champion Award - $500 - This scholarship recognizes one student in each state who has overcome challenges and has clear education and career plans.  Students must have a composite ACT score of 22 or higher and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students.  Apply online at no later than October 31, 2018.

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award -  $150 - $5,000– Male and female students are encouraged to apply for this award.  The student selected as our school’s DAR Good Citizen must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.  Once selected, you will have the opportunity to write a timed essay under school faculty supervision. The winning entry is advanced through state and national levels of judging.  All materials are due to the DAR chapter by November 2, 2018.  Please see Mrs. Symer for more information.    

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship -  

$4,000 – $50,000-The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in this year’s competition.

  • Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply.

  • Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks.

  • Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.

AXA Achievement Scholarships - $2,500 - $25,000 - These awards are for college-bound seniors who demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.  Apply online at

Horizon Bank Minority Scholarship - $1,000 - Applicants must have a 2.5 or higher GPA and demonstrate financial need.  See Mrs. Symer for an application, which must be received by the Urban League no later than December 14, 2018.  

Lead Roster B2B Sales & Marketing Scholarship - $1,000 - To apply, you must submit the URL of a video you’ve uploaded to YouTube where you explain, present, convince, inspire, entertain, market and/or sell us your reason why you deserve to win this scholarship.  The video can be anything you feel will be compelling as long as it has “Lead Roster Scholarship” in the title and is publicly viewable. Submit an application at ( no later than December 15, 2018. SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship - $1,000 - To apply, submit a brief essay explaining the best use of content marketing you have seen.  In 5 paragraphs or less, share what you saw, how it made you feel, the call-to-action, and ultimately explain why it was the best use of content marketing.  Visit before the December 15th deadline.


Valparaiso University EPIC Scholarship - up to $5,300 per year, renewable for 4 years - This award is for VU students who live within commuting distance (30 miles) majoring in science, technology or math.  The online application is now live at  Finalists will be chosen from those who submit the EPIC application by January 11, 2019.  

Washington Crossing Foundation Awards - $1,000 - $5,000 -  
These awards are for students planning careers in government service.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Award - $4,000 - This scholarship is open to college-bound high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks.  Students will be judged on the Elks core values: Knowledge, Charity, Community Service and Integrity. Apply online at no later than February 1, 2019.

FIDM National Scholarship Competition - up to $31,500 (full tuition for 1 year of study at FIDM in California) - Students interested in the global industries of Fashion, Visual Arts, Graphics, Interior Design, Social Media and Entertainment are encouraged to enter this contest.  Visit for entry details or text FIDMSCHOLAR to 57682.
